Billing questions
What happens after the Pro trial ends?
The 7-day Pro trial requires a credit card to start, but nothing is charged during the trial itself. If you don't cancel before the seven days end, the trial converts automatically to a paid Pro subscription at $69/month: unlimited analyses, up to ten offers per deal, Buyer and Listing PDF reports, scenario testing, and agent branding with your photo and logo. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your account settings and pay nothing at all; access continues through the end of the trial window either way. If Pro turns out to be more than you need, you can also drop to Starter at $29/month or the Free plan instead of canceling outright; your deal history, saved scenarios, and generated reports stay attached to your account whichever direction you move.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract on any plan. Every OfferSignal subscription is month to month. Cancel from your account settings (Manage subscription opens the secure Stripe billing portal) and your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, so you keep full access to everything you've already paid for. There are no partial refunds for unused days, but there's no cancellation fee either, and nothing further is charged once the period ends. Your account then moves to the Free plan rather than being closed: your deal history and generated PDF reports remain attached to it, so if the next busy season brings you back, you can re-subscribe from the same settings screen in about a minute and pick up exactly where you left off without re-entering anything.
What counts as a "deal"?
A deal is a property you analyze, with unlimited re-runs while you work it. Re-scoring the same property as terms change, adding another offer to the same deal, or testing scenarios against it doesn't consume a second deal. Only opening a new property counts against your plan. The Free plan includes one deal per month with up to two offers; Starter covers 10 deals per month with up to three offers each; Pro removes the deal cap and raises the limit to ten offers per deal; Unlimited removes both ceilings. In practice, a listing agent fielding five offers on one property is working a single deal, and a buyer's agent revising the same client's offer three times before submission is too. The count only moves when a genuinely new property enters your pipeline.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes, at any time, from your account settings. Plan changes go through the Stripe billing portal and take effect immediately. Billing is prorated automatically in both directions: upgrade mid-cycle and you're charged only the difference for the days remaining in the period; downgrade and the unused portion of the higher plan comes back as a credit toward your next invoice. Moving between Starter ($29/month), Pro ($69/month), and Unlimited ($99/month) never touches your data. Deal history, saved scenarios, and generated PDF reports all stay attached to your account through any plan change. If you're upgrading for one busy month, you can drop back down afterward, and the proration math means you only ever pay for the level of tool you actually used.
